Imagine that, when in conversation with another (perhaps somebody you disagree with in some way), your thoughts are transparent. If you imagine they can see all your thoughts, it may provide a little motivation to approach the conversation without negative mind chatter about them or the situation.
Today, take time to intentionally play with the frame of reference above in conversation. Notice if it helps you stay present with a given conversation and if it helps reduce mind chatter.
