“I opt out of becoming a better person. Just let me sit here in my sweatpants, watch every episode of “Cheers” and eat potato chips. […] There is no hashtag BEST LIFE right now. Muddle through. That’s it.” Shira Ovide

Today, take time to read this short article by Shira Ovide over at the New York Times. It spoke to us as we were getting rather saturated with life coaches and such like telling us how we could make this situation yet another learning opportunity. As Shira suggest in the article, we may find that given the circumstances no amount of cleaning behind the fridge will reduce our anxiety. And that may just be an entirely appropriate response to the reality of our lives right now.
