“However, for me, the blank page is less about writing and more about finding something valuable in the million thoughts I have each day. We all have ideas that swirl and gather, a murmuration of emotions driven by experiences and feelings. To capture a single thought and to let it rest and be seen, is so much more about discovery than about writing.” Paul Gilbert

It is rare these days to find words that seem to have been just born for the page we are reading; far too often we find derivative sentences ordered to get more google hits…not so with this wonderful post written by Paul, a lawyer, reflecting on how hard it is to find ways to pause and how a blank page can offer a pause. We selected one short sentence to give you a flavour of the post. We think it is deserving of being read in full and with time.

Today, take time to find wisdom in the blank page.
