When the monkey mind takes hold we feel more and more pressured by the clock and lack of time: ‘Is that the time?’‘I’ve got far too much to do’ ‘I should never have said yes to that’ ‘I need a break’ …and so on.

This is draining and adds to that feeling of being time poor and it is time consuming!  As you hear the monkey mind get going, interrupt it with: ‘stay in your body’. Focus on your breath (or on how your toes feel right now) and concentrate on what is right in front of you. Take a leap of faith that what you have chosen to do right now, is the only right thing that needs your attention right now.
