Can you take something someone says today, which you disagree with, and come up with some reasons why the person may say this? Can you a habitual thing you do each day, which you enjoy, and describe both its advantages and disadvantages? Experiment with both these questions today. The goal of these questions is not to change anything necessarily. John Mason in the Discipline of Noticing speaks to ways to  “problematize the normal” – to reflect anew on things that might go unnoticed through your day. Today take time to refine your observations of your own daily actions.
